BUT...they were in LV for 24 years and enjoyed it! And I loved growing up there. The heat is crazy in the summer, but the winters are nice, the sunsets are beautiful, and it has a very small-town feel--despite its insane growth lately. When my parents moved to the suburbs, they moved to Summerlin! And that's where my husband and I lived until we moved out of state. Summerlin is wonderful--beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. And the city has become more cosmopolitan than it used to be. There are museums and broadway shows, beautiful hotels, and world-class restaurants. It has a lot to offer. Email me if you want to talk more!Lulu the Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17992257691123690969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8737998905575166794.post-83262500663347327952012-08-21T08:25:11.132-07:002012-08-21T08:25:11.132-07:00I love Ciabatta bread, thank you for this post - t...I love Ciabatta bread, thank you for this post - this will be perfect with dinner tonight. Also, (non-food related) how do your parents like living in LV? We are considering retiring there (Summerlin)and would love to hear what they like (and dislike -- heat?) about living there.Lauriehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/39088837@N05/noreply@blogger.com
