Just curious where you found your Carmelitas recipe. This has been my staple bar for the last 5 years or so. I make mine a little different, evaporated milk instead of cream. I always make it a 9x13 so I didn't compare your measurements of everything else. Just wondering if I might know your sister from whom you got the recipe? I was shocked to see "my bar" on pinterest! :) Of which I got from a MOPS gal that used to make it in a restaurant.
Hi! So, I got the recipe from my sister, Emily, a few years ago. She got the recipe from someone she went to church with when her husband was in grad school in Utah. I don't know the genealogy any farther back than that! I do know it's a hit wherever it goes, as I'm sure you can attest!
Where can I find the recipe of the picture on your main page, it's chocolate something with raspberries.
That would be Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Torte, and it is delicious (pretty too!). Although that is my picture, I baked it as part of a baking group, and someone else was in charge of posting the recipe. New to your website........loving it! How do I print out recipes?
Hi Daisy! I'm still trying to work on that. I've actually been looking into it this week and hope to have a printer-friendly version of each recipe available soon. In the meantime, I would just copy and paste the recipe into a Word document. Lame, I know, but it should work!
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your site. Keep up the good work.Sincerely,ChristineThunder Bay, Ontario

Just wanted to let you know what a huge hit the Carmelitas were at work. I've taken them twice recently for pot lucks at work and the second time one guy said it was like Pavlov's dogs - as soon as he heard what I brought his mouth started watering! :-)
